The Festival from A-Z – F.A.Q.

Arrival
The easiest way to get there is by train to Gelsenkirchen main station. You can reach the festival site on foot in about 10 minutes if you leave the main station heading south / exit Bochumer Straße and follow the signs. At the main station you can also take the underground / tram 302 and be in the middle of the festival area in about 5 minutes at the stop Wissenschaftspark or Stephanstraße.

We also recommend arriving by bike. This way you’ll be super flexible on the festival grounds and can get from A to B easily.

If you are coming by car, enter the address “Cramerweg 1” into your navigation system. There is a car park here with plenty of space. Parking along Bochumer Straße is not recommended. Otherwise, the car park of the Ückendorf Comprehensive School (Bochumer Straße 190) is also suitable on Saturday.

Hygiene
You can find everything about hygiene and the current Corona protection measures at the festival on our special Corona page of our website. The three most important things: The 3G rule applies, so it’s best to have your certificate with you in digital form. Our staff members with the green waistcoats, who you will find at many places on the festival grounds, will give you an access wristband for the festival locations after checking your certificate. Masks are compulsory at many venues, so you should also have a mask in your bag. Additionally, please have the Corona Warning app on your smartphone so you can check in at the entrance to each location.

Here you can see the entire hygiene concept.
