Freelance media educator, speaker and trainer for the initiative „Eltern und Medien“ at the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW

Tobias Schmölders

Tobias Schmölders is a graduate pedagogue and has been working as a freelance media educator for almost 20 years with different target groups (adolescents, teachers, multipliers*) on the fascinating, challenging and problematic aspects of smartphone, internet, games and Co.

He is speaker and trainer for the initiative “Parents and Media” of the State Media Authority NRW. The program supports kindergartens and daycare centers, schools and family centers, but also parents’ associations and other initiatives in NRW in planning and organizing information events on questions of media use and education. In this context, Tobias Schmölders also talks about the opportunities and risks of virtual reality.
