Places _ Virtual Reality Festival: A real success
From 19 to 22 April, Germany’s first festival for virtual reality took place in Gelsenkirchen, in the Kreativ.Quartier Ückendorf. Over 2000 visitors, enthusiastic programme partners and numerous media reports with over 8.9 million viewers, readers and listeners confirm this impressively.

Hackathon
31 developers, designers and creative minds from all over Germany have prototypically developed new VR/AR apps in 24 hours. Complex topics such as energy system transformation, modern mobility, sustainability and neighbourhood development were successfully presented as an immersive experience, simpler, more efficient and more interesting. Six highly interesting prototypes have been created, three of which have been awarded prizes.
