About the place
The shop at Bochumer Straße 105 is probably the smallest location at Places. The room, which is just 12 square metres in size, once served as a warehouse for the Café Luigi opposite – one of the oldest and most authentic Italian cafés in Gelsenkirchen. In the meantime, the art collective [kuʃ] with Natalie Pielok, Leah Gerfelmeyer, Charlotte Kaiser, Christian Wandhoff and Malte Keno Lenzner is working meticulously on this room. After a thorough renovation, they will transform the shop into an art installation which can then be admired through the shop window every day and at any time of day
